I've been hiding all my hopes and dreams away
Just in case I ever need them again someday
I've been sitting aside time,
to clear a little space in the corners of my mind
I've been noted by many to be extremely competitive, kiasu, a perfectionist and one that sets extremely high aims for myself. So rejection is not something that I can accept easily. But I guess getting two out of three scholarships should make me contented, not a bitter person. Life has to move on anyway, but it doesn't stop me from aiming even higher!
Bring on the next academic year.
Thank God for friends like G who keep me sane when I hate myself for not achieving my goals.
