Disappointed

There's this saying that goes: One lie leads to another.

In most cases, one lie leads to another lie to cover up the first lie. Then another lie to cover up the first two lies. It's a very vicious cycle. And so on so forth.

Seriously, in this day in age, you would expect a 25 year old professional to be able to think intelligently before telling a lie. What's the use of telling me one thing, when the information and pictures on facebook suggests something completely different?

One would have thought a SCHOLAR turned financial analyst would be smarter than that.

It just makes me wonder how much of a friend this person really is, and whether the various stories or excuses he makes can be trusted.

 

And one wonders as well why I'm such a cynic…
